1. Service Description & Acceptance

Tuition Core (the "Service" or "Platform") is a comprehensive online tuition management application designed for educators, students, guardians, and administrators. Our Service enables:

• Exam creation, management, and grading with deterministic question shuffling
• Student roster management with subscription-based limits
• Class scheduling and attendance tracking
• Multi-role user dashboards (Students, Guardians, Admins, Super Admins)
• Real-time notifications across multiple devices (iOS, Android, Web, Windows, macOS, Linux)
• Social feed and peer-to-peer messaging
• Subscription management with tiered pricing (Free, Starter, Pro, Expert, Premium)
• Google Drive integration for file storage and management
• Performance reports and analytics

By accessing and using Tuition Core, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms & Conditions.

2. User Eligibility & Account Requirements

You represent and warrant that:

• You are at least 13 years of age (or applicable age of digital consent in your jurisdiction)
• You have the legal authority to enter into this agreement
• If you are under 18, your parent or legal guardian has reviewed and consented to these Terms
• You have not been previously terminated from Tuition Core for violation of these Terms
• All information provided during registration is accurate, complete, and current
• You will not use the Service for any illegal, unauthorized, or malicious purposes

3. Multi-Role Account Management

Tuition Core allows users to hold multiple roles (Student, Guardian, Admin, Super Admin). Key responsibilities:

• You are responsible for maintaining separate session contexts for each role
• Role selection persists within a session; you may switch roles by re-authenticating
• Different roles grant different permissions and access levels
• You agree not to impersonate other users or assume unauthorized roles
• Admin accounts carry significant responsibility: managing students, exams, payments, and notifications

4. Subscription Plans & Billing

Available Plans

• Free Plan: $0/month - 5 students max, 1 exam per month, ads enabled
• Starter: $2.99/month - 30 students, 3 exams per month, ad-free option
• Pro: $5.99/month - 75 students, 5 exams per month, rich content support
• Expert: $9.99/month - 200 students, 10 exams per month, advanced analytics
• Premium: $19.99/month - Unlimited students & exams, ad-free forever

Yearly billing offers 17% savings. All prices exclude applicable taxes.

Billing & Renewal

By providing payment information, you authorize automatic recurring billing at your subscription renewal date. You are solely responsible for maintaining valid payment information. Failed payments may result in immediate suspension of paid features.

Add-ons & Upgrades

Within any active subscription, you may purchase add-ons including:

• Additional Students: $0.99 per extra student beyond plan limit
• Additional Exams: $0.99 per extra exam beyond monthly quota
• Subscription Duration Extension: Plan price × selected months (1-12 months)
• Ad-Free Duration: $0.99/month × selected months (max remaining subscription duration)

Add-on charges are billed to your active payment method immediately upon purchase approval.

Cancellation & Refunds

You may cancel your subscription anytime. Cancellation is effective at the end of your current billing cycle. No refunds are issued for partial months unless required by applicable law. Cancellation does not delete your data; your account remains accessible on the Free Plan indefinitely.

Price Changes

We reserve the right to modify subscription prices with 30 days' written notice. Changes take effect at your next renewal date. Continued use after notice constitutes acceptance of new pricing.

5. Exam System & Academic Integrity

Exam Creation & Management

Admins assume full responsibility for exam content, question accuracy, and adherence to educational standards. The Service provides technical infrastructure; Tuition Core does not validate exam content quality or correctness.

Question Shuffling & Fairness

Tuition Core implements deterministic question and option shuffling using seeded randomization (seed: hash of examId + studentId). This ensures:

• Same student sees identical shuffle on retake
• Different students see different shuffles
• Shuffling is client-side; no Firebase reads required

Academic Integrity Obligations

You agree to:

• Students: Not cheat, plagiarize, or submit unauthorized assistance during exams
• Admins: Create original exam content and enforce academic integrity policies
• All Users: Report suspected cheating or exam manipulation to us immediately

Violations may result in account suspension, exam score invalidation, or permanent termination.

6. User Conduct & Prohibited Activities

You agree NOT to:

• Harass, intimidate, discriminate, or threaten other users
• Post illegal, offensive, defamatory, or intellectually stolen content
• Attempt unauthorized access to the Service, other accounts, or backend systems
• Reverse engineer, decompile, or attempt to derive source code
• Deploy bots, scrapers, or automated tools without prior written permission
• Violate privacy of other users by accessing their data without authorization
• Spam, phish, or send unwanted communications to other users
• Sell, transfer, or exploit account access or user credentials
• Interfere with the integrity or availability of the Service
• Violate any applicable law or regulation

7. Student Data & Guardian Oversight

For student accounts under 18:

• Guardians may monitor student activity, exam scores, attendance, and progress
• Guardians retain parental rights and may request data access or deletion
• The Service does not replace in-person educational oversight by qualified educators
• Guardians assume responsibility for ensuring appropriate platform use by minors

8. Intellectual Property & Content Ownership

Tuition Core IP

All Service infrastructure, code, design, graphics, logos, and text (excluding User Content) are owned by Tuition Core Inc. and protected by international copyright and trademark law. You receive a limited, revocable, non-transferable license for personal educational use only.

User Content Ownership

You retain full ownership of content you create (exams, posts, assignments, messages). By uploading content, you grant Tuition Core a worldwide, royalty-free license to:

• Store, display, and serve your content within the Service
• Modify format for technical compatibility (compression, encoding)
• Create backups and perform analytics on anonymized aggregates

You grant students limited permission to view and take exams created by you. Students may NOT republish, redistribute, or exploit exam content commercially without your explicit consent.

9. Google Drive Integration

When you authorize Google Drive access:

• You grant Tuition Core read/write access to specified Google Drive files and metadata
• We store file names, sizes, modification dates, and MD5 checksums for deduplication
• Files are encrypted in transit and at rest on Firebase Cloud Storage
• You may revoke access anytime through your Google Account settings
• Revoked access stops future syncing but does not delete previously stored files

10. Device & Multi-Platform Notifications

Tuition Core supports real-time notifications via Firebase Cloud Messaging (FCM) on:

• iOS, Android (mobile)
• Web browsers
• Windows, macOS, Linux (desktop)

Each device stores its own FCM token. You may disable notifications per device through app settings or OS notification preferences. Disabling notifications does not affect core account functionality.

11. Advertising & AdMob

Tuition Core integrates Google AdMob for serving display, interstitial, and rewarded advertisements. Details:

• Free & Starter/Pro/Expert Plans: Show ads (unless ad-free add-on purchased)
• Premium Plan & Yearly Billing: Ad-free by default
• Ad Placements: 30+ screens including dashboards, exams, feed, chat
• Rewarded Ads: Optional engagement on creation flows (you may skip)

Ad targeting and impression tracking is governed by Google's Privacy Policy. We do not control ad content or targeting; report inappropriate ads directly to Google.

12. Limitation of Liability & Disclaimer

AS-IS Disclaimer

Tuition Core is provided "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE" without any warranties of any kind, express or implied. We disclaim:

• Merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement
• Accuracy, completeness, or legality of user-generated content
• Uninterrupted or error-free service operation

Liability Cap

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Tuition Core's total liability for any claim shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim. We are not liable for:

• Indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages
• Lost profits, revenue, data, or business opportunity
• Service outages, data loss, or unauthorized access (even if advised of possibility)
• Exam score disputes or academic consequences resulting from platform technical issues
• Third-party content (user posts, messages, uploaded files)

13. Exam Data Loss & Backups

While we maintain automated Firebase backups and Firestore persistence, we do not guarantee recovery of deleted data. Recommendations:

• Export exam content and student rosters regularly
• Maintain offline copies of critical exam questions
• Test exams in preview mode before assigning to students

You assume all risk for data loss not attributable to our negligence.

14. Account Termination

Termination by You

You may delete your account anytime via Profile > Settings. Upon deletion:

• Your profile, exams, posts, and messages are marked for deletion
• Data is retained for 30 days in compliance with tax and legal obligations
• Permanent deletion occurs after 30 days (unless legally required to retain longer)

Termination by Tuition Core

We may suspend or terminate your account immediately without notice if:

• You violate these Terms or applicable laws
• You engage in fraud, harassment, or malicious activity
• Your account is used to harm other users or the Service
• You fail to pay subscription charges after 30-day notice
• We determine your account is no longer compliant with regulatory requirements

Upon termination, your access ceases immediately. Data deletion follows the 30-day schedule above.

15. Indemnification

You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless Tuition Core Inc., its officers, directors, and employees from any claims, damages, or costs (including legal fees) arising from:

• Your use of the Service in violation of these Terms
• Your User Content (exams, posts, messages, uploaded files)
• Your violation of third-party intellectual property or privacy rights
• Your violation of applicable law

16. Changes to Terms

We may modify these Terms anytime. Material changes are effective 30 days after notice. You will be notified via email or in-app alert. Continued use after notice constitutes acceptance.

17. Dispute Resolution & Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of [Your Jurisdiction], without regard to conflict of law provisions. Any legal action or proceeding shall be brought exclusively in the courts located in [Your City], and you consent to personal jurisdiction there.
